Just a dog in a humans world

I'm just a dog, in a human's world. I don't purposely try to defy you and I certainly am not trying to be an "alpha". I don't do things out of spite (that's a human trait) and I'm not trying to rule the house. Everything I do is because I'm somehow reinforced for doing it. When I jump on you, it's because I always get attention (positive or negative) and when I beg at the dinner table, you sometimes give in (so I'll keep trying my luck). Don't punish me- train me!
